A Side Adventure: Ravenwood Castle

The drive from Mansfield, OH to Weston, WV took the Cloud Orchid Team an entire day to accomplish. Along the way, the team spotted a small sign on the highway that read “Ravenwood Castle.” Intrigued, we exited and drove down the small dirt forest path. We were rewarded with a scene of beautiful little houses straight out of a faerie tale, as well as a large castle. The crew frolicked about, albeit a bit nervous since there were no other people about. Eventually, they went inside the castle and found the owners. It’s a hotel, and the little houses are different rooms you can rent. Their intention is for fantasy fans and gamers to have events at this magical place. We were only there for a short while, but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We highly recommend checking out this little alcove!
