This summer and fall, Milwaukee will be hosting a unique fashion and runway event. Designers will compete for a spot on the runway. This year’s theme is “Enviornment and Water.” Artists must be imaginative with the theme to create garments and accessories from items that are post-consumer, or going to be thrown away. Cloud Orchid Magazine plans to attend and cover this amazing event. We hope to attend both the Sneak Peek and the official fashion show.
The Sneak Peek Judging will take place on July 11, 2013. Artists will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, construction, use of recycled goods, design, theme, and overall look. The winners will be announced and showcased at the fashion show on September 20, 2013.
The deadline for applications is March 1, 2013. Chosen participants will be announced by March 16, 2013. The contest is limited to 30 contestants.
All entries must be completed and turned in to the RedLine at or prior 3:00pm on June 28, 2013.
