Model
Raemaesha
Raemaesha walked for several designers in MFW, Gretchen Bartz of GCB Designs, LeeVan Roundtree of Sebastian Khole, and Chelsea Stotts of Moda Muneca. She has worked with designer Chelsea Stotts since she began modeling. The fashion show had a unique challenge that Raemaesha was not prepared for until the night of- walking down a flight of stairs. “When I found out that there were going to be stairs, I panicked because I’ve never walked down stairs until that night. It was all worth it in the end and the stairs actually weren’t bad, it was all nerves.” This may seem trivial, but a major set change like stairs, or a complicated runway, can spell disaster if the models are not properly prepared.
Thus far, Raemaesha has participated in “I Witnessed It All, Divergent Hair & Fashion Show” and, her favorite, “Lust For Fashion”. She is a relatively new model, having started April 2015. These shows were great opportunities for her to network with designers, photographers, and other models. She recently walked in the “Fight Like A Girl: Breast Cancer Show” presented by Tyresia’s Boutique, earlier this month.
Her future plans include finishing her degree, and continuing to model. She hopes to walk for MFW 2016 and would love to organize her own fashion show someday. “I would love to continue to model in Wisconsin but most importantly I want to branch off and model in other cities and states as well.”
